There is an immature Pacific Loon at Conneaut Harbor this morning. It is near the mouth of the harbor. It requires a lot of patience as it is continually diving and never comes up anywhere near it went down. There are not a lot of gulls, but there is an immature Glaucous Gull on the flat. Kind of fitting as they are predicting snow and cold later this week. A small flock of snow bunting added to that feeling. Also of interest was a group of 60 pine siskins in the marsh. They were feeding on the green algae covering the water.
