This afternoon, on Soltis Road, I found another flock of snow buntings and horned larks. Mainly horned larks, 80 or 90, and about 20 snow buntings. Like the ones on Hayes Road, they were feeding in a field that had been manured. I didn’t find any longspurs in the flock. Also one kestrel and what looked to be a pair of red tailed hawks. (In Geauga Co., Soltis Road, like Hayes Rd. is a reliable spot for these birds. This is near Parkman.)
