After i watched a baton competition for my cousin, which was kinda boring, I went to Blendon. When I got there, I went to the nature center first, then to Thoreau lake, then hickory trail. To the people who may have seen me today, I was the 13 year old kid with a Colombia jacket, brown hair, and binoculars with a small camera, I said all that cause I swear some of you looked familiar.....:) Thoreau Lake: Canada Geese: 174 Mallard: 89 Am. Black Duck: 17 Ring Neck Duck: 12 Green Teal: 6 American Coot: 5 LesserScaup: 7 Greater Scaup: 4 BUFFLE HEAD: 4 ( 3 male 1 female ) American Wigeon: 2 Gadwall: 2 Also a Red Shouldered hawk flying over and calling over the Lake trail on the way to Thoreau, and a Kestrel was mobbing it! What a site!
