a quick note on the ever-changing lakefront conditions. West to the Vermilion area Lake Erie remains open. Ice continues to shift in-and-offshore in the Cleveland area but is now open, as it is to the east. Very slightly warmer temperatures and southwest winds are keeping ice offshore to 1.5-2 miles out. As we finally regain the lakefront, birding opportunities will open up dramatically. Conditions very across the board especially in harbors and bays but for the most part we're seeing the final break of ice pack
