On our little pond down here in Lawrence County I saw 7-8 ring-necked ducks yesterday. Only one male, I think. The rest were all smaller and brown. Would there be that many females? It's too early for those to be babies, right? Plus this is not normal breeding range. I'm not very knowledgeable of breeding times etc. Thanks- hayward chappell -- Hayward Chappell 766 Private Rd. 3952 Willow Wood, OH 45696 ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
