The following simple forwarded message was sent out to BRDBRAINS subscribers in Florida. The sender is an E-bird reviewer for three busy birding counties on the Gulf Coast of Florida. As I explained in an earlier post, BRDBRAINS is Florida's counterpart to OHIOBIRDS.

Hi All.
In the last 6-8 months, fewer people are posting their sightings on Brdbrains, and posting them on Face book and eBird.
As that is all well and good, but birdbrains goes out immediately to the emails, as if a rarity is put into eBird, it may take several days for it to go through, EVEN if it is reviewed on site!
That is the way it is.
