Lake Hope State Park & Zaleski State Forest are located 15 miles from Nelsonville (Rte 33) off of Rte 278. I arrived at Zaleski State Forest on a ridge with a Shelter Woods & Clear Cut at 5:30 am. The woods were alive with Birds singing. This went on till 6:15 am. At that point the Birds quieted down a lot but there was still a lot of Singing I also saw a lot of young!!
