I birded Conneaut harbor today from 7:00 - 11:45 AM.  Birds found included: 40 double-crested cormorants, osprey, 6 bald eagles, 10 killdeer (some must have been migrants), spotted sandpiper, 2 lesser yellowlegs, 3 sanderlings, 4 semipalmated sandpipers, least sandpiper, short-billed dowitcher, first juv. ring-billed gull of the season, Caspian tern, belted kingfisher, willow flycatcher, purple martins, n. rough-winged swallow, bank swallows, cliff swallow (a migrant here), and 6 yellow warblers (first migrants of the season).  From there I went to Walnut Beach in Ashtabula; the water was high there.  I saw bald eagle, belted kingfisher, and purple martins.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
