This is a great little area surrounded by huge agricultural  fields.  I only
had an hour to visit during mid-day so my list of 20 bird species is modest
with nothing unexpected.  However, I did see, for the first time, a Giant
Swallowtail butterfly at the south end of the property at the edge of the
conifers.  This is a spectacular butterfly (no camera - darn!) and I wanted
to alert anyone heading there to watch for it.  You can learn more at
