I visited the Wilderness Rd peat ponds for the first time in 2wks. After the rain yesterday, the ponds held a little more water. I really had to look hard for them. I found a group of plovers resting at the far peaty edge of the furthest pond, including 8 golden plovers and one black-bellied.
