Swift Night Out
Time: 7:30 pm
Location: The Ridges Building #9 (behind the Kennedy Museum on Circle Drive)

Witness a local staging area for migrating Chimney Swifts, an aerial bird that roosts in the building’s chimney at nightfall. Dozens, sometimes hundreds of swifts congregate and circle until they drop into the chimney. This can be quite spectacular! We will participate in the national swift roost count (chimneyswifts.org) this weekend and record number of swifts and start and end times of entering the chimney. Short program by Stefan Gleissberg
