While motoring out to do some perch fishing (10/6, 1:30PM), we noticed a very dark, gull-sized bird sitting alone on the water. As we got closer, the bird lifted off and proved to be a dark, juvenile Parasitic Jaeger. We were running along beside it (at roughly 20-30 yards away) which gave us excellent looks at it in flight. Normally, by-catch when perch fishing is white bass or sheephead. This day, we were much more fortunate.
