No swallows today, but there was a nice movement of songbirds along the lake. Of note were 6 common redpolls. Other migrants were blue jays, American robins, cedar waxwings, snow buntings, rusty blackbirds, and cowbirds. The lingering yellow warbler was still present. I also found a gray catbird and a common yellowthroat.

The only thing moving on the lake were Bonaparte's gulls. With about 450 counted. On Sunday and Monday, 1st year birds made up about 1% of the total. Today it was between 10-20%. There were about 100 horned grebes.
