I birded the Lake Erie Bluffs in lake County this morning. There was a decent amount of activity on the lake although it was all just common birds. Of note were an eastern phoebe, graoy catbird, ruby-crowned kinglet, and 4 flyover American pipits. It was a grayish-green flycatcher lacking an eyering or wingbars. It sat upright and constantly moved its tail up and down. It was hawking for insects along the stream that borders the southwest corner of the woods.
