Karen and I saw (presumably) the same bird just after 8 this morning. After going back and forth between Ross’s and Snow x Ross's hybrid, we came down on the side of hybrid, subject to correction of course. My eBird list with photos and rationale is at http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S26447733 <http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S26447733> if anyone wants to look. I saw a white goose and pulled off the road. I was able to get fantastic looks at it. It is a definite Ross's Goose. The location was in a field off of South Hamilton Rd. just south of Bixby Rd. > > Thanks, > Mike Horn > > ______________________________________________________________________ > > Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society. > Please consider joining our Society, at www.ohiobirds.org/site/membership.php. > Our thanks to Miami University for hosting this mailing list. > > > You can join or leave the list, or change your options, at: > listserv.miamioh.edu/scripts/wa.exe?LIST=OHIO-BIRDS > Send questions or comments about the list to: [log in to unmask] ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
