Around 6:15 pm today 2/13/16 I spotted a Northern Shrike on the south side of Panhandle Road directly across from the Delaware wildlife wetlands. When I first spotted the NS it was atop one of the larger trees that was close to the frozen wetland waterline. It then flew down into the aligning brush. Could not see it with binoculars so I ventured out of my vehicle and walked in about 40-50 feet. There I had a great view (about 10 minutes worth) of it perched on top of the outlining underbrush! Definitely worth venturing out on this cold day!
