Looked out my home computer-room window couple days ago and saw a red-breasted nuthatch hopping around in an arbor vitae.  In the area that we left (St Louis MO) that would've been fodder for the Rare Bird Alert.  How rare or common are they in NE Ohio?  Also seeing white-breasted nuthatch, chickadee, titmouse, robins, red-bellied woodpecker ....   Also in the St Louis area, downy woodpeckers were plentiful -- haven't heard or seen any here yet.    ??
