I birded the Lane Road portion of the Lake Erie Bluffs this morning. With the winds and temperatures it felt like there should be a lot moving, until you remember its still only March 7th. It still was pretty good. There were still some good birds moving. Of note were three tree swallows and a small hawk migration. There were 1 northern harrier, 18 red-tails (but I think a couple may have been locals), 3 red-shouldered hawks, a rough-legged hawk and 32 turkey vultures. Unfortunately the wind went more westerly around 11:00 and things shut down.
