Blendon Woods is located in the northeast corner of Columbus off of I 270
& Rte 161. Take the Little Turtle Way exit. Below is a list of some of the
Birds seen this morning. I would like to thank our visitors for helping

        Cedar Waxwing
        E Towhee
        Carolina Wren
        Indigo Bunting
        Chimney Swift


   Thoreau Lake
        Belted Kingfisher-male, female
        Wood Duck-2
        Great Blue Heron
        Green Heron
        Mallard-2
        E Phoebe
        E Kingbird
        Cedar Waxwing
        Fox sparrow-young-An Adult has been seen at the East Blind bird
feeder also
        White-throated Sparrow-adult

  Lake Trail
        Yellow-billed Cuckoo-2
        Red-eyed Vireo
        Hairy Woodpecker-female

 Nature Center
       Ruby-throated Hummingbird

 Turkeys-everywhere-at least 11 females have been seen with young (polts)
