I spent the morning checking migrant traps at these 2 parks south of Columbus, with a little success. Water levels at both parks were rather high due to recent rains, so shorebird numbers were skimpy. Notables included:

Great Egrets - 2-3 were at the 3-Creeks Borow Pits, Cruiser Pond, and Pick Ponds, so they're dispersing
Green Herons - 2 at Turtle Pond (3Creeks) and at Teal Pond (PickPonds) hint at a movement of this species
Shorebirds - the 3Creeks Borrow Pits had 15 Kildeer and 2 LYellowlegs, while Teal Pond had more Kildeer, another LYellowlegs, 5 Semipalmated Sprs, and 4 Least Sprs

Flycatchers - nearing Wood Pewee peak, with lots of individuals at every stop. Also had 3 Acadians and 2 Great Cresteds at locations in 3Creeks

Vireos - 2 Warbling were still around Heron Pond )3Creeks), while Red-eyed were common at many locations

Swallows - flocks of Rough-wings were at many spots, topped by 60 at the Wood Duck area of Pick Ponds. Glacier Knoll there had 12+ Purple Martins as well

Thrushes - 2 Wood Thrushes were calling around the Confluence area (3-Creeks) early

Mimids - Catbirds were abundant, with 6-8 at every stop; a Brown Thrasher was near the Borrow Pits at 3Creeks

Warblers - still skimpy, with a Northern Waterthrush at Heron Pond (3-Creeks), and Yellow & Chesnut-sided near Ellis Pond (PickPonds) along with ComYellowthroats at many locations.

Orioles - Baltimores were at many locations, though never more than 1.
