This morning while walking from Brookside Road Marsh in the Cuyahoga Valley I saw a hummingbird flying over the bushes and small trees along the railroad tracks. What was interesting is that it was flying slowly in a prone position in a straight line like a "normal" bird flapping its wings. I could see its wings making individual flaps. They weren't blurred. It then spread its tiny pointed wings out perpendicular to its body and made a short bank before disappearing into a small willow tree.

Note: What mudflats were at the marsh are now gone. They are covered with water with the recent rains.
