Ron Pittaway's annual Winter Finch Forecast is available, and it contains
some information of interest to Ohio birders...

In short, while it may not be a big irruption year, this winter we will
want to keep our eyes peeled for crossbills, siskins, and purple finches.
In addition, if redpolls stage a southern movement, they will likely show
up here as well.

Good birding,
