Lots of activity this morning at W. Geauga Commons ball fields and
trail.  Along the river there was a large, active flock of cedar waxwings.
Hard to count but 40 or so…lots of juveniles, two of which had 
orange tail tips.  There were also quite a few warblers.
I saw 7 species… wilsons, blackburnian, bay breasted, tennessee,
magnolia, redstart, and nashville. Also a philadelphia vireo.

This little spot always surprises me. It doesn’t look promising as you
drive in, passing one ball diamond after another, but all the way in 
back by the river, is a valuable little migrant trap, and all the mosquitoes that go
with it
