I got quite a few questions about my red yarn House Sparrow deterrent that I was investigating. So on the Birding Ohio Facebook page, I put a few pictures of it and a Red-breasted Nuthatch that is hoarding seeds on my front porch (guess I won't be cleaning that off till spring. :-D ) Here is my post: https://www.facebook.com/groups/BirdingOhio/1142863909137438 Hose sparrows are on the ground, but none are on my feeders....I'll post more results through the winter and spring. Happy birding and God bless, Steve J aka sjlarue www.sjlarue.com ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
