More than 1000 passed over Clark Co. between 3:00 and 4:00 (moving parallel to Rt. 235). They are probably passing over Montgomery and/or Greene Co. now. ________________________________ From: Ohio birds <[log in to unmask]> on behalf of Robert Sams <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Thursday, December 15, 2016 3:50:19 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: [Ohio-birds] Sandhill Cranes, Hancock County Sorry, for the late-ish post, but there has been a major movement of Sandhill Cranes through Hancock County in NW Ohio. Since about 12:30 today, I have received 10 separate reports from 5 different birders, totaling over 800 birds. Goodness knows how many more have passed through. All groups reported to me were moving SE to East. ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
