Summit Lake in Akron Is a great spot for ducks. Excellent viewing from the tow path trail on the north side of the lake with the following noted:

Coots
Mallards
Northern shoveler
Green winged teal
Red headed Duck
Scaup
Buffleheads
Hooded mergansers

The birds are all near the shore due to ice because canal water is not frozen over.

Maybe more. I was running and got distracted by all the ducks right at the shore.

There is parking at the community center right there if you want to park.

Not the best neighborhood so be aware, although everyone I met was very nice.
