Speaking of brown-headed cowbirds - Rachel McKinney and I were scouting the manure along Bundysburg Rd, Middlefield on Wednesday - we saw a number of horned larks and a bit farther down the road, hundreds of starlings, one red-winged blackbird and two cowbirds (who were working the road, a little bit away from the starlings). I had never seen cowbirds in winter before so it was a pleasant find for a cold day. Also one kestrel on Hayes Rd. Barb Partington Munson Township > On Jan 7, 2017, at 9:01 AM, J.
