Just over thirty tundra swans showed up at LaDue Reservoir today. There is also a nice assortment of ducks. Along with abundant redheads and ringnecked ducks, there are lots of wigeons, several canvasbacks, scaup, shovelers, red breasted and hooded mergansers, a lone bufflehead and a lone ruddy. Coots and several horned grebes. Lovely to watch, fairly close in to shore, beautiful in the bright sun.
