There were a lot of birds moving today at Lake Erie Bluffs Park in Lake County. Most notable were the number of geese moving. A total of 482 Canada geese were observed. There were a couple flocks of 50-60 birds, but most were less than 20. A total of 113 snow geese were also found and a single Ross's goose. The Ross's was with a group of 16 snow geese (all snows). A group of 94 snow geese (60% snows and another group of 4, 2 snow and 2 blue. Other birds of note were 45 tundra swans, 1 lesser black-backed gull, 11 killdeer, 34 song sparrows, and 26 rusty blackbirds.
