A decent morning at Sandy Ridge. The water is pretty high there, so little shorebird habitat is available. There were lower numbers of ducks than expected, but I did see Blue and Green-winged Teal, N. Shovelers, Am. Black Ducks, Ruddies, Woodies, one Ring-necked and a single Horned Grebe. Lot's of FOY sparrows including Swamp, Field, White-Crowned, and Fox. One of the Eagles did a few flyovers and the resident Red-shouldered Hawk appeared as well. See you on the trails, Chris Pierce ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
