We were very fortunate to host the Long-eared Owl for 4 days; I originally found it on Friday (the 24th) and it was last seen Monday evening. I assumed it would only be around for one day, so I was shocked when I got home Saturday evening (after having been gone all day) and found it was still in the same tree. I'm glad that about a dozen people were able to come to see it on Sunday. I've put up a webpage with some pictures here:

I've checked those trees for the last 5 years...it finally paid off.
