News for chasers from Allen Chartier... BW -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Fwd: Brown Pelican Date: Fri, 2 Jun 2017 11:24:17 -0400 From: Allen Chartier <[log in to unmask]> To: Whan, Bill <[log in to unmask]>, brumfield, jen <[log in to unmask]> I am not currently subscribed to Ohio-Birds, but received the report (below) from a very competent birder. I suspect that more than a few birders would want to try to chase... Allen T. The bird was about 50 yds away from us. It stayed there for a minute and flew NW up the shore about 100 yds and landed on another post. Then it flew NW up the beach. We are staying at a house on Lake Erie,11985 Dyke Road, Curtice, OH. The bird is not here though. ID was easy because it was so close and I have seen many Brown and American Whites in my travels. Quite a surprise! Lathe On Jun 2, 2017 9:25 AM, "Allen Chartier" <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > Every birder in Ohio will want to see that! Are you subscribed to > Ohio-Birds? > > Allen T.
