Got out early this morn to beat the heat & look for the previously reported Dickcissels at Margaret Peak Nature Preserve in Lorain County. I was treated to two singing males near the northeast pond. It's fun to hear them singing - they seem to throw their voices, especially on the last note. Peak has enlarged a grassy area which hopefully will bode well for birds. Best of birding, wherever that may be! Patty McKelvey Sent from my iPhone Oh, that I had the wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest. > On Jun 25, 2017, at 8:14 AM, marys1000 <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > > I know a Dickcissel at Huffman Prairie isn't big news but while I see > them reported there > I have not seen them.
