For the past 3 weeks, I have driven past

Mayfield United Methodist Church (which

has a huge "lawn" area) on the corner of

Caves and Mayfield Rds...

I finally stopped today for a quick count of the

killdeer which mass in nice numbers on the

grass. Today's count yielded 68 Killdeer!

Mixed in are Starlings and a few Robins -

but the constant bug chasing is quite

entertaining...
