If any one is birding to look for the avocets here today, is it possible for you to post to the listserv ASAP? I have some availability in the late afternoon to travel from Zanesville to try to see the avocets. Also, I am unsure of their behavior. Does anyone know if they are seen in the early afternoon in their habitat today, is it possible they may head out of the area in the evening? Or, is it likely that if seen that late in the day - that they will roost where seen! ? Thanks!
