From Mary Birdsong (Shorebird monitor in Pennsylvania): "To the "Steve" on the Ohio listserv who wanted to know more about yellow flagged piping plover seen at Conneaut this morning, it is a northern Great Plains bird. Yellow flag: NGP US, Lake Sakakawea or MO River (GarrisonReach), per USFW." Seems the flyways are getting busier. :-D If anyone knows the Original finder, or can get in touch with him, please forward the info...will be quicker that the USFW. :-D Steve On Sep 22, 2017 6:29 PM, "Steve Jones" <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > Would be interested in updates from this bird...doesn't have the normal > bands...possible not from Michigan? > > Steve > > On Sep 22, 2017 5:48 PM, "Mark Vass" <000001e9902b144b-dmarc- > [log in to unmask]> wrote: > >> Ohio birders, >> Marc Hanneman found and photographed a juvenile PIPING PLOVER this >> morning at the Conneaut sandspit >> >> Photos of the bird are included in his ebird report >> >> http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S39328174 >> >> Mark Vass >> Ambridge,Pa. >> >> ______________________________________________________________________ >> >> Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society. >> Please consider joining our Society, at www.ohiobirds.org/site/members >> hip.php. >> Our thanks to Miami University for hosting this mailing list. >> >> >> You can join or leave the list, or change your options, at: >> listserv.miamioh.edu/scripts/wa.exe?LIST=OHIO-BIRDS >> Send questions or comments about the list to: [log in to unmask] >> > ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
