I spent an hour walking around this suburb near downtown Columbus, and was not surprised that its leafy yards and pocket parks had attracted modest numbers of migrants, including the first notable burst of temperate migrants I've noticed. Included in the list were: 3 Sapsuckers 3-4 Flickers 2 E.Phoebes 1 Wood Pewee 2 Swainson's Thrushes 5 Gray Catbirds 6 Brown Thrashers (they popped up everywhere) 4 warbler species (Nashville, Black-thr.Greens, Magnolia,Redstarts) 10+ White-throated Sparrows ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
