We had enough time to head out to see the Buff-breasted Sandpiper before sunset! OBSERVERS: Karen and John Shrader 4 species Canada Goose (Branta canadensis) 60 Killdeer (Charadrius vociferus) 17 Buff-breasted Sandpiper (Calidris subruficollis) 1 Feeding in the grassy ditch and along the sidewalk both parallel to the beach. Quite tame, occasionally flying around with the killdeers. Very busy picking up abundant insects in the grass.
