Since Saturday night, a Fox Sparrow has been spending the nightsunder my back awning, in a corner with his tail bracing on the strut. AllI see is his back and tail. He snoozes through me taking the dogs out andin, but is gone at sun-up. I managed to get a photo of him on my phone, getting as close as Idared. I've attached the photo as a Word document; hope that's OK. I thought at first he was taking shelter from an evening storm, and then a concert and fireworks (Rock the Docks) at the nearby lake. Buthe kept showing up. JeanLakemore, OH ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
