Bird activity still on the low side and mostly breeding residents, trails improving some but still pretty sloppy in places.

I heard/saw mostly the same birds at both spots in my futile search for Mourning and CT Warblers. It was warm & muggy from the start with steadily rising temps—felt like June/july… At lobdell, I added YT Warbler, YT & Warbling Vireos, Willow FC, Kingfisher, Red-tailed Hawk.

I was quite happy to hear a not terribly close Kentucky warbler, singing at Denison near one of the areas where they have nested in the past. No orioles seen or heard today. Most warblers heard only.
