Hey Everyone,
While making the rounds at Wandot Lake amusement park, in Powell Ohio,
I observed a group of about 12 Dark Eyed Juncos. Guess winter must be on
the way. Other birds seen in the area were:
Cooper's Hawk
Blue Jays
Turkey Vultures, about 30 flying together
Ring Billed Gulls
Mallard Ducks (flyovers)
Double Crested Comorants, visable off Riverside drive.
and the usual suspects, sparrows/cardnials, etc.
Lots of construction in the area, so not sure if the Great Horned Owls
will be around much this year. Only seen 1 in the park so far.
Good Birding
