Hi all-
Did some walking over the weekend on the Towpath Trail in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. I was on the Ira Rd Trailhead near the "Beaver Pond" when I saw an Immature Bald Eagle on a dead tree next to Riverview Rd. How cool! After I left the area, I headed out to the old Coliseum site in Richfield and watched 2 Short Eared Owls hunting over the fields.
It was cold, but it was worth it.
Also seen :
Browncreeper
Golden-crowned Kinglets
BC Chickadees
WB Nuthatch
Am Robins
Downy Woodpecker
and some foolish Skunk Cabbage poking up about 3 inches next to the canal.
Good birding-
