Hi all: This afternoon Gary Cowell, Cheryl Harner, Hugh Rose, Judy-Kolo Rose, and I went looking for the Harris' Sparrow that was reported in Holmes County.
The bird was first seen at a feeder at the residence of Eli D. Miller, 3395 TR 406, Millersburg, north of Walnut Creek. Eli's son, Wayne, was the first one to identify the bird 2 days ago. Birders are welcome.
Upon arriving today, Judy spotted the bird across the road in the company 10 White-crowned Sparrows. The bird then moved to trees on the side of the house. We last saw the bird at 3:30PM. Su Snyder, Wooster
