The Mississippi Kite mentioned on the June 8 Rare Bird Report seems to
have reappeared. Rick Perkins, who first reported the bird, saw it again
yesterday at the same location, the Brass Ring Country Club golf course
(hole #4). Although this does not sound like a very accessible location
for chasing a rarity, it would be worthwhile to keep a careful eye on any
raptors when down that way.
Happy birding,
Paul
