I spent 1.5 hours at the observation blind where the LeConte's Sparrow was reported last Tuesday. I did not find it. There was a small variety of sparrows available: 2 Field, 6 Swamp, 6 Song, 2 White-crowned and 1 junco.
Other highlights: 33 Black Vultures (there were 14 Turkey Vultures), 6 Green-winged Teal.
Also, on the way up, about 300 cormorants flying WSW over Rt. 27 in Butler Co.
