This afternoon around 2:15 I had a flock of 4 SANDHILL CRANES fly overhead
while I was at Indian Point Park in Leroy Township, Lake County. They were
flying northeast. I checked an cornfield along Route 84 a half mile north
of the park that frequently gets large groups of geese on my way home.
Unfortunately nothing was there.
At my feeders in North Perry, I had 4 red-breasted nuthatches, 2 fox
sparrows, an eastern towhee, and a couple common redpolls.
