There was a pretty good movement of birds today with a good diversity of
species. Best bird was a female HARLEQUIN DUCK that was sitting in with a
group of 23 bufflehead off the beach for about 10 minutes. Forster's tern
was new for the year. Another good one for me here was blue-winged teal. I
don't see many pass by here. Some years I never see one.
The feeders were also decent with about a dozen COMMON REDPOLLS and 2 purple
finches.
