Hightlights, there was a lot of bird activity at the Park and at the
Lagoons (Marsh Trail was very crowded with birds) today:
Mentor Headlands State Park
Brown Thrasher
Eastern Towhee
Northern Flicker
Yellow Bellied Sapsucker
Eastern Phoebe
Fox Sparrow
Some kindly birders have been placing birdseed near the western side fence
opening for the last week. It has created a hot spot.
Mentor Veteran's Park
Brown Creeper (many)
Yellow Rumped Warbler (20+)
Yellow Bellied Sapsucker (many)
Northern Flicker
Hermit Thrush
Fox Sparrow
Mentor Lagoons
Yellow Bellied Sapsucker (70+)
Northern Flicker (30+)
Hermit Thrush (15)
Red Breasted Merganser (raft over 100 near shore)
