Add another fabulous shorebird to Dr. Dane Adams' good luck streak at his
property outside Wellington, Lorain County, where a Wilson's phalarope is
currently at one of his 3 ponds. If you'd like to see it give Dane a call:
440-647-2711.
The phalarope arrived a week to the day after the BLACK-NECKED STILT, a
one-day wonder, and the first ever in the Cleveland region.
Read all about it, and check out the photo, on The Plain Dealer Bird Blog:

Dane's inviting habitat in the country is paying big dividends on a
regular basis. The week before last he had red-necked phalarope and
American bittern.
