Funny, I missed all the convo about this very spot,
but I was out there this afternoon. Highlights -
stunning fem. WILSON'S PHALAROPE and a WHITE-RUMPED
SANDPIPER. The freshly-remodeled habitat is really
beginning to show promise, and this is good news for
Cleveland-area birders - we don't have to drive to
Conneaut anymore! I have been checking regularly for
the past week or so, and today was the best thus far:
Semipalmated Plover 11
Killdeer 10
Greater Yellowlegs 2
Lesser Yellowlegs 4
Spotted Sandpiper 30
Ruddy Turnstone 4
Semipalmated Sandpiper 1
Least Sandpiper 15
WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER 1
Dunlin 36
WILSON'S PHALAROPE 1
Good birding -
